One thing that I do really miss about living in B.C., is the backyard birds that would visit our feeders on a daily basis. Spending a couple of weeks at my parents place helped fill the gap of the birds I have not seen in some time.
Here is just a few….
A pair of Pine siskins take a dip in the cool water on a warm day
A Black-headed Grosbeak
Steller’s Jays keeping cool with a nice dusty dirt bath.
Dinner time for one of the year round regulars, Ana’s Hummingbird
Busy Black-capped Chickadee nurturing growing babies in the nesting box.
American Goldfinch snacking on a fresh feeder of thistle seed
It's nice to have a bird fix!
ReplyDeleteRobbie, Glad you got to see all your old friends! Nice series of shots!
